Highcliffe Action Team are delighted to announce the launch of their debut one-day music festival, which will take place on Saturday, 9th September 2023. This 70’s themed music event will be hosted on the green adjoining the cliff-top car park… near the Cliffhanger, from 11 am to 7.30 pm.

The popular Shake & Stir Vintage Music Festival, hosted in Southbourne each summer, was announced as the gold winner for the Event of the Year Award at the DMB (Destination Management Board) Tourism Awards. The award win was announced at the Gala Dinner hosted at Bournemouth Pavilion on 10th November 2022.

As part of BCP Council’s plan for post-pandemic recovery, the newly launched BH10 & 11 Business Association has been given a £34,000 boost. The new association, featuring several prominent members of the local business community, is set to support Kinson by boosting businesses, increasing footfall, and creating a community feeling through a series of local events.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Starting from the 3rd December, Father Christmas is sending his elves to Christchurch town centre, to help people with their Christmas shopping and encourage residents to head down to the High Street. Then the man himself will be joining the festive fun at the free Santa’s Grotto underneath the Mayor’s Parlour in Saxon Square from the 18th December.

The much-anticipated return of the popular festival, Poole Goes Vintage, was announced on Friday 18th February, at the official launch party. After a short break in 2021, the popular event celebrating music, fashion and the feeling of the 1940s – 1960s will be back on Poole Quay in July 2022.

Poole’s getting ready to get its glad rags on with the Poole Goes Vintage event coming to Poole Quay on the 9th and 10th July. Featuring vintage traders and live music playing the sounds of the 1940s, 1960s and everything in between, the event is a must for locals and visitors alike. This year, the celebration of all things vintage will be managed by Stir Events in partnership with BCP Council with funding from Festival Coast Live.

The Shake & Stir vintage music and lifestyle festival returns on June 27th and 28th - but as an online 'home edition' event, streamed across various social media channels and its website, shakenstirfest.com.

Shake & Stir Festival is returning to Fisherman’s Walk in Southbourne on the 25th and 26th of June. The popular annual festival features vintage fashion, local traders and live music playing the sounds of the 1920s, 1970s and everything in between. This year, the celebration will also be raising money for the Friends of Fisherman’s Walk.

Three Southbourne organisations teamed up to organise Eco Sobo, a brand-new sustainability fayre planned for Southbourne’s Fisherman’s Walk in May 2023. On Tuesday 17th January the trio met with members of the local community to share plans and welcome feedback.
