Home Edition, 2020
2020 forced us to reconsider how a live event can be produced. Faced with Government restrictions on public gatherings, clearly running the festival in person would be impossible… but, we weren’t willing to let that stop us. Instead, we partnered with Bournemouth’s Live + Studios (part of Centre VR) to deliver a digital two-day showcase event over YouTube, social channels and our website.
On June 27th and 28th, more than 34,000 people tuned in online to watch a wide variety of live bands, competitions, talks, DJ sets and more - as Stir! Events ensured the show would go on!
